Gene expression profiling of porcine jejunum-derived intestinal organoids. Quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction was performed to evaluate the gene expression of porcine jejunum-derived intestinal organoids using several markers of intestinal stem cell (LGR5 and HNF4A) and epithelial (CDH1, MUC2, CHGA, and GATA6) characteristics, with the muscle as a control from the prepared samples. Gene expression was normalised to that of GAPDH and analysed using the 2-ΔΔCt method. Significant differences between groups were analysed using Student’s t-test. A p-value less than or equal to 0.05 indicated statistical significance (*p-value ≤ 0.05, ***p-value ≤ 0.001).
