Expressions of pluripotency-associated genes in cells differentiated from pEpiSCs, pBM-MSCs and pA-MSCs. (A) Relative mRNA levels of pluripotency-related genes (OCT-3/4, NANOG, SOX2) in porcine epiblast stem cells (pEpiSCs) cultured on iMEFs with DMEM/F-12 containing 20% of FBS, 1% of GlutaMAX, 1% of MEM, 1% of penicillin/streptomycin, 0.1 mM β-mercaptoethanol, 5 ng/mL bFGF-2 and 10 µM Y-27632 for 3 days. Porcine bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (pBM-MSCs) and porcine adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (pA-MSCs) cultured in advanced Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (advanced DMEM) containing 10% FBS, 1% GlutaMAX and 1% penicillin-streptomycin, respectively. (B) Relative mRNA levels of OCT-3/4, NANOG, SOX2 in cells differentiated from pEpiSCs, pBM-MSCs and pA-MSCs cultured in differentiation medium (EBM-2 + 50 ng/mL VEGF) on cultured plates coated with matrigel® for 8 days, respectively. Values presented as mean SEM. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 versus SUVEC. SUVEC were used as the control.
